eufy unable to connect to video doorbell

the eufy doorbell connects to the router fine. I purchased the wired doorbell a few months ago and have tried daily to tweak settings to give consistent results but no luck.

I cannot get the Eufy Doorbell to connect to my R6400 router. This made the whole plastic surface flat but it is no longer tight there (can wabble when you shake). I'd be more inclined to think its an issue of the app. I had a 16V 10VAC transformer at the time and upgraded that to the referenced 16V 30VAC above. Nest Hello doorbell doesn’t have a chime like the Eufy video doorbell provides. Yeah same here.

I don’t believe you can get a double Nat from that setup. This means the doorbell is connecting online and communicating. checking through my settings, I do have some ports forwarded for online games. It will however work if I take off the mount off the wall and try to snap it into place freely. But I will try that if all ellse fails. eufy support thinks it is a router setting. I had this issue. Things I've tried on my Netgear R6400 that haven't changed a thing: -Opening my network, removing all security WPA protocols, -Ensuring 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz are on separate SSIDS, -Ensuring there are no basic restrictions in any setting, -Rebooting the router many times throughout this, -Specifying specific radio channel as well as using Auto, -Changing router modes from 450Mbps and down, -Shutting my router off and moving it right next to the damn doorbell. We are able to get the doorbell to connect to the router no problem, but we are unable to connect a mobile device to the doorbell via the router to change doorbell settings, view video, etc. Having the same trouble! If you are indeed in a double nat, you can place your combo device in modem only/passthrough mode or you can place your router in AP mode. At this point I firmly believe the issue lies with the Router & Eufy handshaking. both put out 17v.

It’s a single function modem only, not one of those combo gateway things. any ideas for what router settings may be preventing these things from seeing each other?

My stucco wall was not flat and the plastic was not flat. I had the same trouble and had to back the lower screw out ever so slightly to allow the backing plate to straighten.
